A bright vibrant ruby hued wine that offers lovely varietal aromas of big red strawberry, cherry and lilac, with hints of savoury herbs and floral notes. Medium/light bodied palate with a finely balanced delicate structure that slips pleasingly across the palate with soft, silky tannins and generous sweet fruit.

The bright ruby 2021 vintage (4*) is a single-vineyard red, hand-picked from a hillside site, south-west of Hastings and Havelock North. A graceful wine, it is mouth-filling and supple, with strong, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, gently seasoned with nutty oak, and fresh acidity. Retasted in mid 2023, it's well worth cellaring.
